The health and safety of our team members is critical to us. And we know that documented workplace safety programs are important to our customers as well.
MERRILL is dedicated to providing a safe, clean and healthy workplace environment. We make sure that all of our facilities and equipment are kept impeccably maintained and we coordinate and execute procedures, training, directives, forms, reports, accident data and any other actions we feel are necessary to achieve our safety policy.
INTEGRATED SAFETY PROGRAM
Our goal is to prevent personal injury to our employees and visitors by actively administering safety rules and guidelines that have been established by the Federal Occupational Safety Health Act (OSHA), the State of Michigan’s safety requirements, our insurance company’s safety requirements and our own extensive industry experience.
- A full time, Level I and II safety certified environmental and safety officer
- Two certified first aid/CPR trainers who provide in-house recertification for all employees
- Monthly audits, training and inspections
